             I'm have never been overly into football EVER. #2013 Super Bowl I was glued to the screen.. More of a Beyonce concert than a football showcase. This one was one to remember for all the Fashionistas out there... Beyonce made hearts skip beats, do flips and even a few jumped out their seats to dance along. Making it more of a WHAT WILL SHE BE WEARING EVENT !!! She appeared on stage in a Rubin Singer Leather and Lace Combo.

     Making the Leather trend more and more apparent to all on lookers. If we ever wondered was the Leather trend here to stay this was a sure fire way to give it that little push of staying power for at least a few more seasons. 

While I was away....

I begun this in on Feb 1st 2009...Funny I'm back and not on purpose the exact same date.... Odd how things all come together..Today marks a new....Kebero has grown it's not longer a figment of my imagination it's tangible. My labor of Love!  I love it , touch it , live it everyday. Always a balancing act between the requirements of my life and my dreams. Like the saying goes life is but a Dream sooo we all know we can just relax and let go knowing dreams do come true. ;0)

I have had few collections/ capsules since you last read my words. Busy consumed with the push and shove of making dreams form into reality. I've been lost spinning in this Carousel called the fashion. Always the wild ride.. 2013 promises not to disappoint . Only this time I plan to let everyone in a little closer.  An insiders view of my life , what inspires me,  my process creating for September  Fashion Nite Out collection/ presentation entitled THE HUNGRY HEART. As an added bonus 

I wanted to share photos of and minutiae details of my wardrobe that make my heart skip a beat.

SANTOS.... ON A WARM FRIDAY NITE IN THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS

Usually there isn't much as far as the party seen to do on the weekend in NY but, Santos has been stepping it up every Friday. I first went in Summer of 08' and had a blast that night. I have gone a few times since the amount you can count on one hand. Not because it wasn't hot but because it's like a food you want to savor and not over do. As with any club one can easily become bored of the same ole thing. Santos unlike any other club or nite spot I have loved since I was 17 is extremely casual with a dance floor that is always packed. It's the underground nite spot that the Celebs and Industry crowd pray doesn't really catch the eye of the mainstream party crushers. With just the right mix of soul, dance floor bangers, and underground classics DJ's QTip and Rich Medina know what drives the crowd crazy. At this rate this will be Santos Second summer being the place to be on a Friday nite. As summer slowly comes to greet us I wonder what other hot spots will come in to play.....word is Kane on Wednesday nites is on the way to being just as hot...We shall see....I'll keep you posted ;0)

              Now we all know that the Endlessly Talented Marc Jacobs has transformed himself a few years ago from Nerdy to Hottie but can I just say WOW !!!!  Lovve the Tatts..

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

During a brisk evening walk in search of an Birthday outfit in Soho I  found myself in my favorite stores with lots on my wish list. See I'm the type of girl who must Love what I buy. I must see a future in a piece of clothing, bag or shoe. The item needs to speak to me and move me to inspire. To find the right pieces to compliment its colors textures and silhouettes. Sooooo here goes it... For some Sugar in my life I pick this Chanel Necklace full of pearls, charms and beads.. but what moved me about this necklace is the stand out charm non other than a "Carousel".

Keeping it Spicy south of my Chanel necklace my feet will stalk the streets of the city in these show stoppers....Louis Vuitton's "Spicy Sandal" the same ones seen in their ad on Madonna's feet. Now you can't get any spicier than Madonna. Chanel meets Vuitton now that is a recipe for everything nice.

M.I.A blesses the stage nine months pregnant to the date with Jay-Z, Kanye , Lil Wayne and T.I for a memorable performance of "Swagger Like Us". In true form she was vibrant, cutting edge and just like always held her on with the boys. Reminiscent of Lauren Hill in her prime M.I.A showed the world just how much swagger she has at nine months. I don't know many who have that much swagger...M.I.A does it her way and makes you love her while she is doing it. Dressed in a  Black and Sheer dress with polka dotted cut outs for her breast and belly  paired with white on white high top sneakers and Ray Ban shades. She showed the world how proud she was to be where she is in her career and in life. M.I.A was quoted saying "When I found out I was pregnant "Paper Planes" was in the iTunes top 10. Even thou she may not have won the award for song of the year for "Paper Planes" which I personally feel she was robbed of , she still made her presence felt at the Grammy Awards. Who says you can't rap and with the hottest rappers in the game and experience the miracle of childbirth all in one week... M.I.A "The Carousel" Loves you and your Grammy baby......
